Malevolent Alien First Contact Science Fiction Thriller eBook E J Deen
Alien abduction. It's a subject that's been written to death, or so I thought, until encountering this book. E. J. Deen has written one hell of a novel. The pacing is relentless, the characters are believable, and the abductions are chilling. There are some seriously disturbing scenes in this book, so I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart. The scene where the entity was staring down at Grey, immobilized on a table, was so visceral that I had to sleep with the light on that night... Something I haven't done in years.--Possible spoiler below---
My only qualm about the book is its title. I went into the book thinking that the entities were, like the title, wholly malevolent. There is some ambiguity as to their intentions, so the reader can draw his or her own conclusions about their motives. I like that the author didn't try to make the aliens purely evil--she leaves open the possibility that they are acting for a valid purpose that is simply beyond the ability of humans to understand.
I'm eagerly awaiting more from this author!

Malevolent Alien First Contact Science Fiction Thriller eBook E J Deen Reviews
This book was a slow build. In the beginning, you know right away that something is going on, but you're not sure what. E. J. Deen really works it in this book, keeping the suspense and the mystery going. I liked the way the story flowed and kept me guessing. I hope I never meet anything like what Elliott saw. Scary.
I'm not normally a fan of alien abduction stories, but this one grabbed me from the start and kept me reading. The detail with which the author sets the scene is exquisitely creepy! I normally draw out the reading of a good book over several weeks, but I finished this one in 3 days...just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend you read Malevolent.
Took a bit to get into this book. Once it started to get going, I couldn't put it down. It's a great and quick read. Highly Recommended.
The first 98% of this book I loved. Yes says exactly 98% While I was reading it I couldn't wait to get home and finish it. I was even casting it in my head as I read it. Thinking it would make a great movie. Then it just ends. No their isn't an ending it just ends. As though the author got tired of writing and just wanted to stop. At 98%, at the height of the action, it stops and you come to the Epilogue ..."Three Years Later." I can deal with an ending that leaves it open for interpretation but this was ridiculous.
It's too bad because up to that point it was a FANTASTIC book. Even with the big glitch in this book I truly think I would check out any future writing by the author. Even with my complaint this author shows great potential. Would love to see the writer continue and progress. I hope they do.
Like the title says, this story was spooky. Try to imagine what it must be like to be subjected to forces beyond your control and learning to live with it. By the end, the reader is left to his/her own decision as to how malevolent the forces are. Well worth the read.
I picked up this story not knowing what to expect and I am glad that I did. E.J. dean does a great job with the characters and the entities in the book. (I for one am extremely interested in the whole alien abduction thing and was looking for a story along those lines)
I couldn't put it down and just had to know what was going to happen. Some didn't like the ending but I did and I can even see a sequel being done if the author chooses to do so!
Looking forward to reading more by Deen!
Absolutely fascinating. You'll love it so much you won't be able to put it down. The hero is tough, smart and sexy. Well developed characters and Twists, Twists, Twists! As good as any thriller I ever read and I've read thousands. I've never shivered when reading, but this thriller scared me to death. I highly recommend!
