Kristin Peck is thrilled to be the working mother of two amazing children. She keeps herself sane by belting out her favorite pop and country songs while running and completing triathlons, and is proud to have recently completed her first marathon. She is currently EVP, Group President of Zoetis, Inc., the world's largest animal health company. Kristin received her bachelor’s from Georgetown and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Kristin, her husband, two children and their dog live in CT. Perseverance is her first book.

Perseverance isn't the type of book that will give you step by step, "How to Become a New Parent" in six easy lessons instructions. Rather, it's an emotional journey that lets the infertile know they aren't alone.Kristin peck suffered through five miscarriages and multiple rounds of fertility treatment, a botched adoption, and more. She was subjected to all of the attempts by others to comfort her when they just really needed to be there for her and not saying.
While Peck had different values and perspective than my wife and I, and pursued some options my wife and I never would have in terms of fertility treatments, I found myself relating to her story and for once not feeling so alone.

I enjoyed this book. I have never had a miscarriage but I know many who have. This book will help anyone that is having trouble getting pregnant, understanding that you are not alone. I can't imagine going through all they went through but in the end, it was worth it. This was a real eye-opener for me. She/they certainly did persevere.
As a fellow infertile mother I too had a journey (14 years) with many treatments and options fall through. In the end blessed 3 times...
I have thought about writing a book, but have not put word to page. Thank you for doing so. Your journey is shared by so many and your honest wording of the craziness and emotional roller coaster helps to heal the soul. Thank you for putting it on paper and showing that side of parenting.
Well written. Finished the book in 4 hours. Couldn't put it down. It was an uplifting story. If you are trying to conceive, going through ivf, adoption, or surrogacy. You will relate to this beautiful story. I thank the author for sharing her journey., and inspiring me to try all methods possible to become a family. I highly recommend her book.
Great story line. Interesting to read about all the details involved with various methods required to get pregnant. Loved the ending!!!
I read this book in one sitting, and later read it again. The story is almost unbelievable - but it's clearly real and authentic. Kristin Peck shares her intense, emotional struggle without wallowing in self-pity or manipulating your emotions. Her honesty about both her journey to parenthood and her personal growth along the way is refreshing. Anyone dealing with fertility issues should find this to be a welcome resource that will make them feel less alone. It's very likely that we all have family or friends experiencing miscarriage or facing other fertility issues, even if we don't know it -- Ms. Peck's book is also a guide to understanding and being supportive. It's fresh, funny, and forthright. Just so good.
This book was so engrossing I couldn't put it down. What's more, my husband, who never reads and won't sit still to be read to, listened to me read the whole thing to him and never interrupted until we finished. We were both deeply touched. We have a daughter who has been trying to start a family for 10 years and this book has been so informative, but entertaining, funny and touching. I have now seen first hand how it feels to struggle with infertility and I am so grateful Kristin Peck wrote this book. I'm going to recommend it to my whole family.

You all are a beautiful family! 2nd Congratulations on Perseverance winning best single kindle for 2014. I thoroughly enjoyed the book & have already recommended it to others. I am shocked that the nurse handling your surrogate was Melanie ( I also kept up with her story when it was in the media). I am appalled by the way the clinic & your lawyer treated you all, knowing full well what was going on. But, in the end with all you & Bob went through the Lord blessed you & answered your prayers.
